What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of data stored by a browser on a device so that a website can function and remember session information.
Cookies on mg-a.lv
The public mg-a.lv website currently does not use analytics, advertising or other optional cookies.
Cookies in the MG-A client portal
The portal at portal.mg-a.lv uses only strictly necessary session and security cookies. They are required for secure sign-in, maintaining an authenticated session, protecting forms and preventing unauthorised requests. A portal session ends after a period of inactivity; some security cookies may be deleted when the browser is closed or when they expire.
When signing in with Microsoft, the user is temporarily redirected to a Microsoft domain. Microsoft may use cookies required for authentication in its own environment, according to its own privacy and cookie information.
Consent
Consent is not required for strictly necessary cookies because the portal cannot securely provide the service requested by the user without them. The website therefore does not currently display a cookie consent banner.
If we introduce analytics, marketing or other optional cookies in the future, we will update this policy and request consent before using them.
Managing cookies
Cookies can be viewed, deleted or blocked in browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent sign-in or certain portal functions from working.
